Each registered author is allowed to have a maximum of 2 presentations. Co-authorship is not affected by this limit.

REGISTRATION
The conference fee for regular participants covers access to all conference sessions, exhibition area, welcome reception, coffee-breaks, delegate’s set with conference programme, conference dinner and excursion.

Participants from other institutions: $250
Annual dues by Universities: $2000

The conference fee does not include individual costs for travel, accommodation and personal insurance.

All participants are kindly requested to pre-register by sending a completed Registration form on-line at www.awau.org.

USEFUL  INFORMATION 

ARRIVAL

There are two main airports to Nigeria. Flights arriving Nigeria from other countries arrive at Muritala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos or Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport., Abuja. Where possible, please fly directly to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport., Abuja. However, where this is not possible, there are many flights (almost hourly and operated by several airlines) from Lagos to Abuja. Please inform us of your itinerary in good time to make adequate arrangement for easy passage.

GETTING  AROUND
The central area of Abuja is huge but it is easy to navigate the city to the University campus or hotel. Public buses and cabs are the most prevalent modes of transportation. The conference organizers will provide transport from the listed hotels to the conference venue.

PASSPORTS  &  VISAS
Nigeria has the ECOWAS  Common Visa Policy as a member country accepting ECOWAS citizens freely. All non-ECOWAS citizens are required to have a VISA to enter Nigeria. MONEY
The national currency is the Nigerian Naira. 1 Naira = $200.
There are numerous foreign exchange offices and ATMs (accepting Master cards and Visa cards) around the city. It is always prudent to carry a little foreign cash, however, in case you can’t find an ATM or bank office nearby. You can always change cash at most of the hotels, though the commission will be high.
Make sure you have enough of the national currency if you plan to visit local markets and shops.

CLIMATE
The weather in November  is warm and often sunny but you may expect some occasional rain. Daily temperatures usually range from 28 to 35 oC.
